Tile Budget
One rack, one number. Play words out of the rack until their scores total exactly the target. Every tile can be spent once across all your words, and the rack always holds more points than the target, so the puzzle is which tiles to leave behind.
The running total and the points still to make stay on the screen the whole round. There is no clock. Overshooting loses the round, and the way in is shown either way.
Words come from ENABLE, a public domain list: 172,789 words after review removals, fetched 2026-11-03 from the dolph/dictionary copy of the list, commit c65f04b. Words are checked against ENABLE, not the official NASPA (NWL) or Collins (CSW) tournament lists: some tournament words, QI and ZA for example, are not in ENABLE, and some ENABLE words are not tournament legal, so for rated play, check the official list for your event.
